Grant funding 2025

Friends of Plenty River Walk was successful in receiving grant funding from Melbourne Water through the Livable Communities, Livable Waterways program. The grant is valued at $8,800 (including GST). This will cover our basic overhead costs for the year with revegetation materials such as stakes, guards, jute mat, and water crystals. It will also enable us to purchase additional equipment that will improve productivity.

As our group has grown, so too has the scope of our works. We are grateful to receive ongoing support from Nillumbik Shire Council, however the time has come to seek additional support so we can plan our activities for the year with confidence and allow scope for the group to continue growing. Fortunately, being on a major waterway, we are well-positioned to receive grant funding through Melbourne Water.
