Volunteer recognition award

Group conveners Colin and Sarah were delighted to receive a community volunteer award presented by Kate Thwaites, federal member for Jagajaga. It was a lovely award ceremony held at Viewbank College Performing Arts Centre in April 2025. We are grateful for the nomination!

“Colin and Sarah are conveners of Friends of Plenty River Walk in Greensborough. They donate endless hours to the local environment to restore the banks of the river and have been doing so for over six years. Colin and Sarah have built a community of like-minded people, and they always operate with generosity, kindness and with the environment in mind. They both have a wealth of knowledge which they are always willing to share with their members, and other groups”
